Who We Are

Medella was founded by Carl & Susan Pickering to solve their own need for products that can be used for sensitive skin. Carl has been a life long asthmatic with chronic skin problems such as rash, severe dry skin and inflammation. J Malki's Dead Sea skin care were the only products he could use without suffering a reaction. When he moved from the UK to the US to marry Susan, they could no longer buy them. After a few trips to the UK where they filled their suitcases with products to bring home, they reached out to J Malki in Israel. This led to the importing of the Dead Sea products to the US and founding of Medella.

Medella's mission is to source high quality, tested and trusted products derived from nature. Carl & Susan have also committed to dedicate a portion of all Medella profits to fund education and treatment for those with chronic lung conditions, especially children.
